Performing his whole life and in many different places. This Gypsy Outlaw, All Around done everything Man is a Country Music Encyclopedia and first class performer. Florida, Alaska, California and everywhere in-between; the internet has been instrumental in connecting Bo Porter fans across the globe. With a music career already spanning decades Bo has made a lot of fans along the way

With genuine musical heritage and steeped in classic country traditions Bo has found a permanent place here in Austin, TX.   An authentic style all his own Bo sets a vocal standard we haven't seen in years.
After arriving in town late January 2007 Bo began booking himself as a solo act around the Lake Travis area, but it wasn’t long before he had landed a gig for a Trio consisting of a stand up bass / rhythm guitar & vocals / electric guitar.  Hi's strong baritone voice has compared with Marty Robbins, Faron Young, Merle Haggard, & even Johnny Cash.
With a regular gig at one of Austins Premier Clubs (The Saxon Pub) Bo is steadily working his way through Texas and helping him along are his Regular Monthly sponsors and Sponsors, like Budweiser/Browns Dist.
Bo's unique take on music deranges traditional hits and makes them his own. A little Classic Country, a bit of Blues, some Rock n’ Roll, and a lot of heart and soul is what Bo Porter delivers. Bo includes the audience in his performances, which keeps them coming back. His comedic sensibility, and audience communication endears him to the audiences as well as the club owners.   The Bo Porter show is a must see.

Big Huck Johnson:
Stand Up Bass
Huck Johnson was born and raised in the lion-roaming fields of South Africa . When I say South Africa , I mean Traverse City , Michigan . His first word was “jet.” His years of football expertise paved the way to pancaking people and strengthening his hands, for years later he took up the glockenspiel, and when I say glockenspiel, I mean the upright bass. He’s a big, lean, mean bass-playing machine. He’s played with millions of people, but now if I remember correctly, he’s played with Cash O’Riley, Wayne Hancock and the Downright Daddies, Chris Barron of The Spin Doctors, The Demolition String Band, and his present  gig with Bo Porter. Huck loves his dog Lucy, although he doesn’t mind kittens, and an occasional Heineken either. His pastimes include: Betty Page, Heineken, football, frisbie, UNO, scrapbooking, LOLing, BRBing, hugging trees, and going green. Huck plays Fender bass amps and BootHill gut strings.                          Professional Profile™ by Annie Johnson

Herb Belofsky
Drums:Herb has been a professional drummer for over 20 years, and has toured with too many people to mention. He is the founder of the Rainravens, a four-piece folk/country/rock band that just finished  it's fourth album , and was most recently  on tour with the VERY BUSY Dale Watson.  His ear and instinct for music production has set him apart in the national music scene, where he is a very successful producer and engineer. He is also an incredible mensch.
Other Drummers often traveling with Bo:  Timmy Campbell,  Michael Kopp

Three individuals along with Bo make up the band.**

**the band members listed are the usual members, schedule conflicts and other reasons might put alternate players in, on occasion.  All band management and decisions remain the sole right of Bo Porter.
